A Magical Day Out

On Wednesday 5th July students were all present and correct for our early morning adventure to the Harry Potter Studios in London. We whittled the time away on the coach with some magical quizzing and awarded Bertie Bott’s Beans and Slugs as prizes. The Students loved the tour around the museum and the time they had to explore the J and K stages (JK Rowling - are you with us?), as well as the fabulous parking lot where Butterbeer was in demand. Students moved around excellently and were clearly fascinated by the range of materials on show; the sets, costumes, wands, animatronic head sculptures to the wonderful recreation of Hogwarts on the final viewing platform. We had time to spend some money in the shop where wands were bought and bank accounts emptied! The coach then swept us round to Frankie and Benny’s where we enjoyed a lovely meal before the trip home.

It really was an action packed day but our students thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you again to the staff and students.

Who is coming aboard the Hogwarts Express next year?
